Travel Time Line
Arrive at Colombo Airport, meet your driver-guide, and visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage before continuing to Dambulla. Overnight in Dambulla or Sigiriya.
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit Dambulla Cave Temple with its Buddha statues and frescoes. Overnight in Dambulla or Sigiriya.
Visit a Matale spice garden and continue to Kandy. Tour the Temple of the Tooth Relic and Royal Botanical Garden. Overnight in Kandy.
Drive to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda Waterfall, Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple, and a tea factory and plantation. Visit Victoria Park and Gregory Lake. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Visit Seetha Amman Temple and Hakgala Botanical Garden, then drive approximately 5–6 hours to Bentota. Overnight in Bentota.
Visit a turtle hatchery, enjoy a Madu River safari through the mangroves, and try optional water sports. Overnight in Bentota.
Drive to Colombo for a city tour including the National Museum, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, and Pettah Market, followed by shopping. Overnight in Colombo.
After breakfast, enjoy free time depending on the flight schedule and transfer to Colombo Airport for departure.
